As a sustainability accountant, you will use all your company's accounting information, from production costs to revenues, to increase your company's efficiency and keep it in line with its stated goal as well as keep the sustainability of the company by measuring, analysing and reporting a company's social and environmental impacts for the long term return.
PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The profession is highly prized by companies with a focus on management reports needed by internal stakeholders (managers, directors, commissioners, employees, and business owners). Your work will be required to evaluate the company's performance both financially and non-financially and to calculate production costs.
In addition to focusing on company profits, now companies have also recognized and implemented the Triple Bottom Line (TBL) concept, namely: Profit (Finance), People (Social), and Planet (Environment), with the aim that the company can continue to operate sustainably.
Students can improve their competence by taking additional certifications at the national or international level to support their profession, such as Certified Professional Management Accountant (CPMA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA) Australia, and many more.

LEARNING MODELS
By learning cost accounting in calculating the cost of production and determining the selling price of products or services, you will understand its relation to sustainability accounting and make a simple sustainability report. Inaddition, you will also learn accounting practices using accounting software.
