Taxation is crucial to the company and a country's economy as it involves legalities and is also a revenue source for the Government. That is why taxation requires several essential skills, including legal interpretation and analysis, calculations, and providing advice.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

As a tax accountant, you aim to produce tax reports to calculate the tax taxpayers must pay. The tax report data comes from the company's financial statements, so in studying taxation, you will need to understand the flow of the financial statements. You can also improve your tax competence by taking additional certifications at the national or international level to support your professions, such as Brevet A and Brevet B, Bersertifikat Konsultan Pajak (BKP), Certified PSAK (CPSAK), Ahli Akuntan Pemerintah (AAP).

LEARNING MODELS

You will do real-life practices such as making e-invoices, e-SPT (notice letter), and using online tax applications to create, pay, and report personal and corporate taxpayer's tax reports. In addition, you will do accounting practices using accounting software.

WHAT YOU’LL LEARN

In the Tax Accounting specialization, you will study the applicable tax provisions, especially in Indonesia, namely: Ketentuan Umum dan Tata Cara Perpajakan (KUP), which discusses tax reporting and payment limits, applicable rates for each type of tax, sanctions taxes, and how to calculate taxes.And to prepare you for the global market, you will also learn International Taxation and how tax policies differ in each country.
