UNIJI, Indonesia — The Faculty of Psychology at Universitas Jakarta Internasional (UNJI) successfully engaged prospective students and parents during last month’s UNJI Open House through a series of interactive and research-based psychology workshops.
Aligned with UNJI’s vision of preparing students for an international future, the Faculty of Psychology presented dynamic booth exhibitions highlighting contemporary psychological issues relevant to adolescents, families, and digital society.

Among the featured topics was the “Don’t Amplify, Let’s Verify!” campaign, which addressed the growing trend of self-diagnosis on social media and emphasized the importance of professional mental health assessment. Visitors also explored identity development and burnoutawareness through reflective activities that encouraged emotional check-ins and self-understanding.

Other booths examined Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD) in adolescents, the impact of father involvement in early childhood development, digital emotional regulation through the “Jari Scroll, Hati Tetap Kontrol” campaign, and psychological factors behind antisocial behavior in youth.

Through hands-on activities, visual learning materials, and direct engagement with faculty and students, attendees gained insight into how psychology at UNJI integrates theory, research, and real-world application.
“The open house allowed us to demonstrate how psychology is not only academic, but practical and socially impactful,” said representatives from the Faculty of Psychology.
The event generated strong interest from prospective students seeking a psychology program that combines international standards with community relevance.
The Faculty of Psychology at UNJI continues to position itself as a forward-thinking academic institution committed to developing emotionally intelligent, research-driven, and globally competent graduates.
