The University of Jakarta International is excited to announce its new partnership with the Faculty of Economics and Public Law at the University of Debrecen in Hungary. A cooperation agreement was signed on Monday to enhance educational and research opportunities between the institutions. A delegation from the University of Jakarta International, alongside representatives from LLDIKTI III, traveled to Debrecen to formalize this partnership.
Upon arrival, Vice-Rector General Pető Károly welcomed the delegation and shared insights about the University of Debrecen’s rich history, ongoing projects, and strong international rankings. Prof. Dr. Toni Toharudin, S.Si., M.Sc., delegation leader and head of LLDIKTI III, expressed enthusiasm for building academic ties with such a respected institution.
László Erdey, Vice Dean for International Affairs, reaffirmed their commitment to collaboration, highlighting existing partnerships with Indonesian universities. Associate Professor Nádasné Rab Henriett noted that this partnership marks a new era for internationalization, particularly with innovative programs for training European and international business lawyers.
During the visit, the Dean of the Faculty of Political Science and Law signed the agreement with the leadership team from the University of Jakarta International, including founder and CEO Dr. Wenny Susanto and other key officials.
As the visit concluded, Vice Dean Erdey expressed optimism for a successful collaboration, emphasizing opportunities for joint online courses and a major scientific event planned for 2026. This partnership follows a successful international conference organized earlier this year, and the University of Jakarta International looks forward to future initiatives.
For those considering study abroad, Hungary is an excellent option. The University of Debrecen is ranked 574th in the world (QS World Ranking 2024) and offers affordable tuition ranging from $7,000 to $10,000 per year, making it a cost-effective choice.
The University of Jakarta International thanks Prof. Dr. Toni Toharudin for facilitating this cooperation and expresses gratitude to the University of Debrecen for initiating this partnership. We look forward to where this collaboration will lead. Stay tuned for updates!
