Greetings, Rhinos!
Today, we had a chat with Dwiyaning Aprillia Putri, a national athlete and a 100% scholarship receiver at the University of Jakarta International (UNIJI). Dwiyaning, along with her friends and teachers from SMAN Ragunan, visited our new campus, giving us the chance to hear her thoughts on UNIJI.
Dwiyaning holds a 100% scholarship at UNIJI through the talent scholarship program. Our Talent Scholarship Program is specially made available for students who excel in various fields outside of the academic field. Dwiyaning herself is a national level swimming athlete, competing at both provincial and national levels. She notably clinched a bronze medal at the Indonesia Open Aquatic Championship 2023 in the 1500m freestyle swimming category and secured 2nd place in the Jakarta Open Swimming Championship in the 50m freestyle category. Looking ahead, Dwiyaning is preparing to participate in the Pekan Olahraga Nasional (PON) 2024 in September in North Sumatera, where she will compete in the 10km open water swimming event.
She has chosen Communication and Public Relations as her major and will start her studies in our upcoming September 2024 intake, making her part of our first intake in 2024. When asked why she chose this field, Dwiyaning mentioned that growing up in Bali taught her about the potential benefits of learning Communication and Public Relations.
When asked about her impression of UNIJI, Dwiyaning shared, "UNIJI is my dream campus, and its learning system and facilities truly support students in their studies. Becoming a student at UNIJI is a dream come true for me. For other students who are still unsure where to study in college, let's study at UNIJI."
